Volunteer Registration

Are you interested in getting involved in the Sasol Solar Challenge?

Applications for the 2020 Sasol Solar Challenge are now open!

To volunteer at the Sasol Solar Challenge is not like volunteering for any other event. You will be occupied on the event for extended periods of time, and often, may end up roughing it out, camping with the teams, not to mention the fact that you might get a taste of a variety of foods from different international cultures.

The Sasol Solar Challenge is one of many great solar challenges that will ensure you meet new people and make new friends while volunteering. You will also make unforgettable memories under the South African sun.

The event relies on volunteers and looks for a combination of experienced and unexperienced individuals that are willing to lend their time and expertise to the event.

There are various roles to be filled during the course of the event including on-road operations, ambassador programmes and other.  Kindly note that all of these volunteer roles do not necessarily require the same amount of input and time but are all equally important.

Volunteering at the Sasol Solar Challenge requires commitment, professionalism and, in many cases, diplomacy.
